The Shield Sights OMSx 65 MOA Circle 2 MOA Dot, Open Mini Sight XL, Glass Lens is a large-window open red dot built for competition and fast pistol work (brand part no. OMSX-65/2MOA-GLASS). Shield Sights gave the OMSx an octagon-shaped glass lens with 80 percent more lens area than its Mini-Sight range, so the field of view is wide and the dot tracks cleanly through target transitions. This version uses a 65 MOA circle around a 2 MOA dot, so the ring catches the eye on close targets while the center dot handles precise follow-up. A transparent acrylic roof leaves the sight picture almost unobstructed, and the sight carries Shield’s no-click mechanism for co-witnessing with standard iron sights. It is aimed at shooters who run an optic-cut slide in IPSC-style stages or on a range pistol and want maximum window.

Key Specifications

• The reticle is a 65 MOA circle with a 2 MOA dot, chosen for how quickly it is picked up when the sight is presented.

• The housing is machined aerospace-grade aluminum with a transparent acrylic roof, which keeps the sight picture open.
