The WOOX AX Volante (brand part no. BU.SHT004.01) is a heavy-duty genuine leather cover built to protect the sharp edge of a WOOX Volante axe. The leather is noticeably thick, and the strap and rivets are built to hold up to repeated use rather than fray or loosen over time. A 5/16-inch (8 x 80mm) D-shape carabiner with a spring-gate hook is included, letting you clip the sheathed axe to a pack or belt for the trail. The carabiner itself is finished in an electrophoretic carbon steel coating for corrosion protection.
