The Böker Heckler & Koch MP7 Personal Duty Knife (brand part no. 02HK001), often shortened to PDK, is designed for versatility across tactical and practical field tasks for military and law enforcement. Named after the HK MP7 submachine gun’s Personal Defense Weapon concept, it carries over that firearm’s ergonomics, grip texture, and build quality into a fixed blade. The universal spearpoint blade is made from Swedish 14C28N steel, an alloy with added manganese and nitrogen that delivers high hardness, strong edge retention, and solid corrosion resistance while improving shock resistance and resharpening ease. The tang runs the full length of the handle, visible at the lanyard hole, though it stays covered at the very end so the heel of the hand can apply pressure safely. The one-piece molded handle is made from indestructible fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), and a modular Kydex-based carry system holds the knife securely without needing an added fastener, accepting either a nylon belt loop or a MOLLE-compatible steel clip. It is a genuine HK-licensed duty knife built by Böker. Explore our full range of fixed blade knives as well.
