The Wheeler Professional Scope Mounting Kit Combo (brand part no. 545454) bundles everything needed to mount virtually any 1-inch or 30mm scope correctly in one kit, since proper installation is critical to a firearm’s accuracy. Wheeler includes 1-inch and 30mm scope ring lapping bars, matching alignment bars, a lapping bar handle, and lapping compound, all aimed at maximizing surface contact between the scope tube and rings so the rings hold the scope securely and protect it from misalignment damage. The kit also adds a Level-Level-Level tool to get the reticle perfectly aligned with the gun, since a crooked reticle throws off windage corrections at distance and can compromise the linear movement of turret adjustments. Rounding out the kit, the F.A.T. Wrench and 10 gunsmithing screwdriver bits secure fasteners to the correct torque with thread-locking compound included, so nothing works loose without over-tightening and deforming a mount.
