The Tipton Deluxe 1-Piece Carbon Fiber Cleaning Rod in .45 caliber at 36 inches (brand part no. 720747R) upgrades Tipton’s standard carbon fiber rod with an ergonomically designed handle that spins on two sets of ball bearings. Tipton’s carbon fiber construction won’t scratch a bore like stainless steel, and it won’t embed grit into its surface like a coated rod does over time. The ball-bearing handle is the standout feature here: it lets the rod smoothly follow the rifling both pushing and pulling, even while under the pressure of a tight-fitting patch or brush, instead of twisting in the shooter’s hand. It’s built for shooters who want the smoothest possible stroke through a .45 caliber bore.
