The Smith & Wesson SW608 (brand part no. SW608S) is an affordable tactical/rescue liner lock folder built to earn its keep on a belt or in a glovebox. Its 3.4-inch combo blade is forged from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, giving you a plain section for clean cuts and a serrated section for rope, webbing, and other stubborn materials. The blade deploys via either the flipper or the dual thumb studs, so you’re never fumbling for an opening method. Finished in a silver tone over blue/black aluminum handles, this SW608 covers rescue and everyday-carry duty in one compact package.

Key Specifications

• The 3.4-inch combo blade combines a plain edge with partial serrations for both clean cuts and cutting through tough, fibrous material.
• Forged from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade holds a working edge well between sharpenings.
• Blue/black aluminum handles in a silver-toned finish keep the knife light without sacrificing rigidity.
• A liner lock mechanism secures the blade open during use and releases cleanly with one hand.
• Dual thumb studs and a flipper tab both function as opening methods, so the knife deploys quickly no matter your grip.
• A built-in strap cutter and glass breaker add rescue capability beyond ordinary cutting tasks.
• A tip-down pocket clip keeps the knife riding low and secure for daily carry.
