The Dark 30 Defiance 640 PTZ thermal camera (Dark 30 part no. DT27000) is a pan, tilt and zoom thermal system built to scout fields and tree lines after dark. A 640×480 sensor with a 17-micron pixel pitch runs at 60 frames per second behind a 32 mm germanium lens, and the camera pans a continuous 360 degrees. The image goes to a 10.1-inch screen over a direct wired connection, and the Dark 30 app adds control from a phone. Mounting options include bolts, suction cups and magnetic feet, so it works as a removable or permanent setup on a hunting vehicle. It comes from the Dark 30 line made by Sellmark.

Key Specifications

• The thermal sensor is 640×480 at 17 microns and runs at 60 frames per second, which keeps motion smooth while you pan.

• Detection range is rated at 1,258 yards, which sets the distance at which the camera can pick up a heat signature.
• The head pans continuously through 360 degrees and tilts from straight down to 45 degrees above horizontal.
• The body is aluminum with an IP66 water resistance rating, built for use on a truck or stand in poor weather.
• Mounting uses permanent bolts, suction cups or 100-pound pull magnets, so you can take it down at the end of the evening or leave it in place.
• The system display is a 10.1-inch screen at 1920×1200 on a direct HDMI-compatible wired interface for near-real-time viewing.
