The Colt 1911 CCU Rail Gun in 9mm with a black and gray finish (brand part no. O1082RGCCU) pairs the classic Government-frame 1911 with a Picatinny rail for mounting a light or laser. Colt builds the CCU with a black PVD-finished stainless steel slide and frame, custom gray G10 grips with 25 LPI checkering for steady traction, and an undercut trigger guard with an upswept beavertail for proper hand placement. The pistol carries a 9+1 capacity with a 5-inch national match barrel, front and rear angled slide serrations, an extended magwell for quick reloads, and Novak front and rear night sights. Colt’s Series 80 firing system, an ambidextrous extended thumb safety, and a scalloped grip round out the package. Among rail-equipped semi-auto handguns, this CCU configuration favors shooters who want a precision 1911 ready for a mounted light.
