The Nosler Varmageddon 7.62x39mm 20-round box (Nosler part no. 60176) loads a 123-grain FB Tipped bullet into Nosler Premium Brass for the high-volume varmint shooter. Varmageddon bullets pair a special lead-alloy core with a copper-alloy jacket so the bullet expands violently on impact, while the flat base design is there for bench-rest accuracy. Nosler publishes a muzzle velocity of 2350 fps and 1508 ft-lbs of energy from a 24-inch test barrel, and the bullet is still moving at 1241 fps at 500 yards. Nosler builds this load in the United States for shooters who go through a lot of 7.62x39mm and still want a bullet designed for terminal performance on varmints at all practical ranges.
