Few 9mm pistols pair a compact slide with a full-length grip the way the Springfield Echelon 4.0FC 15-Round does, and this 15-round model from Springfield Armory ships with two 15-round magazines (Springfield Armory part no. EC9409BFC-U-15). The 4-inch hammer-forged barrel and the billet-machined, optics-ready slide keep weight and bulk down. A full-size grip module gives the hand something to hold during fast strings. It is a straightforward choice for home defense, range training or duty-style carry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the 15-round Echelon 4.0FC come with extra magazines? It ships with two 15-round magazines. If you want four magazines in the box, Springfield Armory also offers a Gear Pac version of this model.

Can I mount a red dot on it? Yes. The slide is optics-ready, and the Variable Interface System lets a dot mount directly to the slide with movable pins.

What are the sights? The front sight is tritium and luminescent, and the rear is a Tactical Rack U-Dot, so the iron sights work without an optic.
