The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0FC 9mm pairs a 4-inch barrel and compact slide with a full-length grip module (Springfield Armory part no. EC9409BFC-U). The full-size grip gives you the capacity and recoil control of a duty pistol, while the billet machined compact slide trims weight for quicker handling. Springfield Armory machines the slide for the Variable Interface System, so you can mount a red dot directly, and the pistol is fully ambidextrous. It ships with a 17-round flush magazine and a 20-round extended magazine, which makes it an easy fit for duty, defense and everyday carry.
