The Griffin MK2 Patrol Rifle (Griffin Armament part no. MK2PATROLW) improves on the original MK1 by reworking the foundation of the rifle: its lower receiver. The fully ambidextrous MK2 lower is manufactured with aerospace techniques to sub-mil-spec tolerances, with the magazine release, bolt release and catch, safety selector, and SN-ACH charging handle all mirrored for genuine left- and right-hand use. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it’s built around a 14.5-inch 416R stainless steel barrel that Griffin has tested to 47,000 rounds fully suppressed with zero baffle strikes. A tuned mid-length gas system and a suppressor-optimized buffer system keep the rifle running soft and reliably suppressed or unsuppressed, weighing in at approximately 6 pounds 13.7 ounces with a collapsed length of 31.5 inches.
