The Seekins Element M3 .308 Win Mountain Shadow from Seekins Precision (brand part no. 0011710443-F) is a lightweight short-action precision hunting rifle with a carbon-fiber wrapped barrel and an integrated bubble level. It rides in a Seekins carbon composite Mini Chassis with four integrated QD sling flush cups and a 60-degree bolt throw. Seekins pairs a 16-inch fluted 416R stainless barrel to a .308 Win chambering with a 1:11.25 twist, and every configuration of this model carries a threaded 5/8×24 Hunter Brake at the muzzle. A Trigger Tech Primary set at 2.5 pounds and a listed weight of 6.5 pounds make it a rifle for hunters who cover ground on foot.

Key Specifications

• Chambering is .308 Win, which sets the bullet choices and the recoil you will be managing.
• The barrel is 16 inches of fluted 416R stainless steel with a carbon-fiber wrap, a length that sets the balance between handling and muzzle velocity.
• Rifling twist is 1:11.25, the rate Seekins lists for this chambering and the factor that decides which bullet weights stabilize.
• Listed weight is 6.5 pounds, the number that matters most on a long climb with the rifle on your back.
• A Seekins Hunter Brake comes fitted at the muzzle from the factory, giving this rifle a muzzle brake to tame recoil.
• The barrel is threaded 5/8×24, the thread the Hunter Brake screws onto at the muzzle.
• The stock is the Seekins Carbon Composite Mini Chassis, a carbon composite chassis with an adjustable comb that lets you set cheek weld for scope height.
• The trigger is a Trigger Tech Primary, factory set at 2.5 pounds for a clean, predictable break.
• An integrated 20 MOA Picatinny scope base is built in, so rings mount without a separate base and long-range elevation is easier to reach.
• The color is Mountain Shadow, one of the finishes Seekins offers on this model.
