The CMMG Dissent Br4 9mm rifle in Armor Black is the unthreaded version, built with an all-new Empire profile barrel and a recessed barrel crown for states that do not allow threaded barrels (CMMG part no. 94A610F-AB). It runs a fixed-ejector Radial Delayed Blowback compact action, which gives a lighter bolt carrier group and less felt recoil across a range of 9mm loads. The traditional-style Magpul SGA stock is compatible with Remington 870 stocks, and the cross-bolt safety is easy to reach. The lower accepts 9mm AR magazines, and a forward non-reciprocating side charger completes the layout.
