The Dark Mountain Stowaway (Dark Mountain part no. SA-120) is a single-shot, take-down rifle chambered in 9mm Luger, built around a detachable 16.65-inch barrel that lets the whole gun break down to less than 17 inches for backpack storage. Dark Mountain Arms designed the Stowaway as an ultralight, packable rifle rather than a handgun, with a bolt face and barrel swap system that lets owners change calibers without a gunsmith. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for a suppressor, and a Picatinny rail up top keeps the platform optics-ready. Backpackers, campers, and truck-gun owners who want a genuinely packable, single-shot rifle pick the Stowaway for its take-down design.
