The Springfield Echelon 4.0C Comp is a compact 9mm striker-fired pistol from Springfield Armory with an integral compensator, and this Gear Pac version ships ready to run (Springfield Armory part no. EC9409B-COMP-PAC). A 4-inch hammer-forged barrel and a billet-machined, optics-ready slide sit on a black polymer frame with a small grip module. The package adds a factory-installed Viridian RFX11 green dot, a heavy-duty nylon pistol bag and four magazines in total. That puts a compensated carry-size 9mm, a dot sight and spare magazines in one box for shooters who want to head to the range without sourcing accessories first.

Key Specifications

• Chambering is 9mm, a widely available caliber with a deep selection of practice and defensive loads.
• The barrel is 4-inch hammer-forged steel with a Melonite finish, a combination built for accuracy and corrosion resistance.
• Rifling twist is 1:10, a rate suited to the common bullet weights this caliber runs.
• An integral compensator is part of the billet-machined slide, which helps tame muzzle rise for quicker follow-up shots.
• The slide is optics-ready, so a dot sight rides low on the pistol without a separate mounting plate.
• A Viridian RFX11 green dot comes factory installed with Instant-On technology and a 30,000-hour runtime, so the sight is ready when the gun is.
• Iron sights are a white-dot front with a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear, giving a quick sight picture if the optic is ever off the gun.
• Four magazines are included: one 15-round and three 18-round, which gives you the full capacity of the platform plus spares.
• A heavy-duty nylon zippered pistol bag with storage compartments carries the gun and your gear to the range.
• Overall length is 7.25 inches and weight is 24 ounces with the flush magazine, a compact package that stays comfortable to carry.
