The Hornady APF Primer Tube Assembly (brand part no. 070905) works together with Hornady’s Positive Priming System to make priming on a press faster and less fiddly. Rather than handling loose primers one at a time, a de-primed case loads into the shell holder on the ram, and raising the ram to its upper extended position pivots the priming arm out to engage the body spring, seating a primer with no separate handling step. The assembly installs with very little effort and includes both large and small primer tubes, so priming becomes a 100 percent hands-off part of the reloading cycle instead of a manual bottleneck. The press itself is sold separately.
