The Butler Creek Element Objective Scope Cap in the 45-50mm size (Butler Creek part no. ESC50) is a modular lens cover for scopes with a 45-50mm objective, which Butler Creek measures at 1.73 to 1.97 inches. It uses a strong polymer lid with stainless steel hardware, and a rubber stretch sleeve lets one cap fit a range of diameters. Three disks are included, a black disk to cut direct sunlight, a clear disk so you can see the reticle with the cap closed, and a data disk you can print with your own wind and elevation information. The modular design lets you swap the disk to match the conditions, from rain to bright sun. Butler Creek sells the Element objective and eyepiece caps separately, so each lens is sized on its own.
