The GG&G AR-15 Vertical Foregrip with Storage Compartment (brand part number GGG-1169) pairs a stable vertical grip with a waterproof, O-ring sealed compartment large enough to carry a spare AR-15/M16 bolt. Unlike the molded or injection-plastic grips most brands sell, GG&G CNC machines the entire grip from solid black Acetal cold polymer, a material chosen for its durability and low heat absorption in direct sunlight. Without the spare bolt stored inside, the same compartment holds two AA batteries, two CR123 batteries, or three N-type batteries, firing pins, ejectors, extractors, or other small spare parts, provided the user packs extra material to keep contents from rattling.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I store in the compartment? A spare AR-15/M16 bolt, or without the bolt, two AA batteries, two CR123 batteries, three N-type batteries, firing pins, ejectors, extractors, or other small spare parts.

Is the compartment actually waterproof? Yes, it uses an O-ring seal to keep the compartment’s contents dry.

Why is the grip CNC machined instead of molded like most vertical grips? GG&G machines it from solid black Acetal cold polymer for greater durability and lower heat absorption than the molded or injection-plastic grips most other brands sell.
