The Christensen Arms MPR Modern Precision Rifle in 6.5 PRC puts a long-range hunting and target cartridge into a folding aluminum chassis (Christensen Arms part no. 801-03073-00). A 24-inch carbon fiber-wrapped barrel is threaded and carries a removable side-baffle brake. The Tungsten Cerakote finish with FFT carbon fiber furniture gives it a different look from the black version. Adjustable length of pull, an adjustable cheek riser and a 20 MOA rail make it easy to fit behind a scope. This Christensen Arms chambering suits shooters who want reach for elk-sized game or distance matches.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 6.5 PRC, a 6.5 mm cartridge built for long-range hunting and target work.
• The 24-inch barrel is 416R stainless steel under an aerograde carbon fiber wrap, button-rifled, free-floated and match-chambered.
• Rifling twist is 1:8, matched to the bullet weights this cartridge is normally loaded with.
• The muzzle is a 5/8×24 threaded muzzle so a suppressor or other muzzle device mounts directly.
• An adjustable stainless steel side-baffle brake in a black Cerakote finish is fitted and removable, which tames recoil and muzzle rise.
• Christensen Arms lists the color as Tungsten Cerakote + FFT Carbon Fiber, a look that suits a field or range rifle.
• The 7075 aluminum billet chassis has a folding stock with MagneLock that folds the rifle down for a pack or a vehicle.
• Length of pull adjusts across 12.5 to 14.5 inches, and the FFT carbon fiber cheek riser adjusts 1 inch.
• The trigger is a TriggerTech Flat with Remington 700 compatibility, a crisp single-stage break.
• The receiver carries a 20 MOA rail on a standard Remington 700 optics base, which gives scopes extra elevation for long-range holds.
