The CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical 9mm Pistol, 10+1, from CZ-USA (brand part no. 81353) swaps the standard SP-01 manual safety for an ambidextrous decocker and adds luminescent fixed sights. The steel frame, 4.6-inch barrel and rubber grips are those of the full-size SP-01, and this version has a 10+1 magazine capacity. It is a capable range, competition and home defense pistol with a sight picture meant to stay visible in dim light.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 9mm, a cartridge with wide ammunition availability for practice and carry.
• Magazine capacity is 10+1, counting the round in the chamber.
• Barrel length is 4.6 inches, long enough for a steady sight radius at the range.
• The trigger system is DA/SA, a longer double-action first press followed by short single-action shots.
• Trigger pull is rated at 4.5 lbs in single action and 10.3 lbs in double action, which sets the feel of the first shot and every follow-up.
• An ambidextrous decocker takes the place of the manual safety found on the standard SP-01, so the hammer drops safely without a lever to sweep off.
• The sights are luminescent and fixed, built to stay visible in dim light with no adjustment to knock out of zero.
• A firing pin block and a safety notch on the hammer are built in, adding protection beyond the manual controls.
• The frame is all steel, a heavier construction that helps soak up recoil.
• Weight is 41.3 ounces with an empty magazine, a figure that tells you how the pistol will carry and recoil.
