The Bergara BMR Carbon .17 HMR is a compact micro rimfire bolt-action rifle chambered in .17 HMR, with a 20-inch threaded carbon fiber barrel (Bergara part no. BMR006). Bergara built the BMR as a scaled-down version of its B-14 action, with a match chamber aimed at the base class of NRL22-style matches and at small-game hunting. Both a 5-round and a 10-round slim-line magazine ship with the rifle. At 5.4 pounds it is easy to carry in the field.
