The Sierra MatchKing .30 caliber 125gr hollow point bullet (Sierra part no. 2121C) carries the MatchKing name, Sierra’s classification for its pre-eminent target bullets, where accuracy drives every design decision. These bullets use very thin jackets drawn to an exacting concentricity standard of 0.0003 inch maximum variation, with weight held to within plus or minus 0.3 grain lot to lot. The hollow point design features a very small meplat for high ballistic coefficient, and the boat tail shape further minimizes drag, giving competition shooters the record-setting accuracy Sierra MatchKing bullets are recognized for worldwide. Sierra does not recommend MatchKing bullets for most hunting applications.
