The B5 Systems AK Stock, 4.5mm in black (B5 part no. AKM-1491), is a drop-in upgrade for the factory 4.5mm folding stock. It mounts to the folding trunnion with the factory 4.5mm pin, and it adds an adjustable length of pull, an optic rail cutout and a cushioned buttpad. B5 Systems builds it in the USA from composite material with steel hardware. Fixed sling mounts and steel anti-rotational QD mounts give it several ways to run a sling. It suits an AK owner who wants better ergonomics without a major conversion.

Key Specifications

• The color is black, a neutral finish that suits most AK builds.
• It attaches with the factory 4.5mm pin to the folding trunnion, so it replaces the original stock without a new receiver part.
• Length of pull is collapsible with 5 positions, so the stock can be set to the shooter.
• B5 builds an optic rail cutout into the stock for AKs that run optic rails.
• The buttpad is cushioned and nonslip, which softens recoil and keeps the stock planted on the shoulder.
• Fixed sling mounts are molded in for a conventional sling setup.
• Steel anti-rotational QD mounts are included for quick-detach slings.
• The body is durable composite material with steel hardware, which keeps weight low without giving up strength.
• Weight is 12.5 ounces, a manageable figure for a rifle stock.
• It is made in the USA, which B5 Systems states for the stock line.
