The CMMG Dissent BR4 .300 Blackout Black is a compact, California-compliant carbine built on CMMG’s bufferless Br4 platform (brand part no. 30A5C0FAB). Its 14.5-inch black nitride barrel has a 1:7 twist, and a pinned and welded muzzle brake brings the overall barrel length to 16.1 inches. The aluminum receiver is finished in Black Armor Cerakote with a full-length top Picatinny rail, and a Magpul SGA synthetic stock gives it traditional sporting rifle ergonomics. A crossbolt safety and two 10-round Magpul PMAGs round out a carbine built for shooters in restricted states. It is one of the more modern options among AR rifles for a .300 Blackout hunting or home-defense gun.
