The CMMG Dissent Mk4 .22 ARC rifle in Midnight Bronze (CMMG part no. 28A490F-MB) is a bufferless AR-style carbine that folds to a compact 25.9 inches. CMMG builds the Dissent on the familiar AR-15 manual of arms but adds Compact Action and a forward, non-reciprocating charging handle, so you can run the rifle without taking your eyes off the target. A side-folding stock with an adjustable length of pull and cheek riser sits at the rear, and an M-LOK handguard with a top Picatinny rail leaves room for optics and lights. The .22 ARC cartridge packs 22-250-level performance into a small-frame platform.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is .22 ARC, which CMMG describes as 22-250 performance in a small-frame AR-15 cartridge.
• The barrel is 16.1 inches with a 4140CM profile and a 1:7 twist to stabilize long, heavy bullets.
• The muzzle carries a ZEROED SVB brake on a 1/2×28 thread, so recoil is controlled and other 1/2×28 devices fit.
• The stock is a Dissent side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull and an adjustable cheek riser.
• The rifle is 25.9 inches folded and 33.3 to 35.5 inches extended, which makes it easy to carry and store.
• The charging handle is a forward non-reciprocating Dissent side charger with a left-side placement.
• The safety is a ZEROED 60/90-degree selector, a short-throw control.
• The gas block is adjustable at 0.750 inch, so you can tune the rifle for ammunition or suppressed use.
• The handguard is a 15-inch CMMG proprietary M-LOK with a top Picatinny rail.
• Two 10-round CMMG magazines are included, setting the capacity at 10 rounds.
