The CMMG Dissent Br4 .22 ARC rifle in Armor Black (CMMG part no. 28AC60CAB) packs 22-250-class ballistics into a small-frame AR-15 platform with classic styling. CMMG pairs the Br4 with a Magpul SGA stock in the Remington 870 pattern and modern amenities such as reversible controls and an M-LOK handguard. It is built for people in restrictive states who want a go-to carbine for hunting, sporting use or defense. The adjustable gas block lets you tune it to your ammunition or to suppressed shooting.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is .22 ARC, which CMMG says delivers 22-250-level ballistics from a small-frame AR-15 lower.
• The barrel is 16.1 inches long with a 4140CM nitride profile, a carbine length that stays quick to handle.
• Rifling is a 1:7 twist, a fast rate for the long, heavy .22 ARC bullets.
• The muzzle carries a ZEROED SVB brake on a 1/2×28 thread, so recoil is trimmed and standard 1/2×28 muzzle devices fit.
• The gas system includes an adjustable 0.750-inch gas block, which fine-tunes cycling for ammunition or suppressor use.
• The stock is a Magpul SGA in the Remington 870 pattern, giving traditional lines on a modern rifle.
• The safety is a reversible cross-bolt, usable from either side of the rifle.
• The charging handle is a Dissent side charger mounted forward, so it does not reciprocate with the bolt.
• The handguard is a 15-inch CMMG proprietary M-LOK design with a top Picatinny rail for optics.
• Two 10-round CMMG magazines are included, matching the 10-round capacity of this model.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the .22 ARC the same as a .22 LR? No. The .22 ARC is the Advanced Rifle Cartridge, a centerfire round that CMMG says matches 22-250-level ballistics in a small-frame AR-15; it is not a rimfire.

Can the gas system be adjusted? Yes. The Br4 has an adjustable 0.750-inch gas block that CMMG says lets you tune the rifle to your preferred ammunition or to shooting suppressed.

Does it include magazines? It includes two 10-round CMMG magazines, according to the manufacturer.
