The Browning BAR Mk4 Hunter .30-06 Springfield Semi-Auto Rifle is a gas-operated, long-action autoloader with an oil-finish Turkish walnut stock, chambered in .30-06 Springfield (Browning part no. 039008226). Browning pairs a fluted 22-inch barrel and matte receiver with a Grade II Turkish walnut stock that has cut checkering, shim adjustment for cast and drop, and an Inflex recoil pad. The .30-06 Springfield is a long-action standby for North American big game, with a deep bench of factory loads. It gives hunters a classic walnut autoloader with the BAR Mk4’s modern gas-piston action.
