The Century Arms VSKA 7.62×39 Black Synthetic rifle is an American-made AK built for a lighter, more modern look (Century Arms part no. RI3291-N). Century Arms machines the bolt carrier, front trunnion and feed ramp from S7 tool steel and fits a carburized 4140 bolt and a US-made chrome-moly 4150 barrel. The black synthetic polymer stock and fore-end keep weight to 7.5 pounds, and the RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group sharpens the pull. One 30-round US Palm magazine is included, and the furniture is compatible with AKM-pattern parts.
