The Sierra MatchKing .30 Caliber 200gr Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet is Sierra’s pre-eminent target bullet, from Sierra (brand part no. 2230), designed from the ground up around accuracy. Every MatchKing bullet uses a very thin jacket drawn to an exacting concentricity standard of 0.0003 inches maximum variation, with weight held to within plus or minus 0.3 grain. The hollow-point design carries a very small meplat for a high ballistic coefficient, and the boat-tail shape further minimizes drag. While some shooters have used MatchKings for hunting, Sierra recommends this bullet for target shooting only.
