The Proof Research Ascension rifle in .308 Winchester with a TFDE Monte Carlo stock and 20-inch carbon fiber barrel (brand part no. 136201) pairs a right-handed Zermatt TI3 titanium action with Proof Research’s patented carbon-fiber-wrapped match-grade barrel. Proof Research builds the Ascension stock in a Monte Carlo style with a raised comb for a comfortable cheek weld, and a TriggerTech trigger pairs with extreme-accuracy bedding to back the rifle’s sub half-MOA accuracy guarantee. Every rifle is individually tested on the Oehler 85 Professional Ballistics Lab System, and the results ship with the rifle as proof of performance rather than a marketing claim. Among titanium-action precision rifles in the bolt action rifles category, the Ascension in .308 Win favors hunters and shooters who want documented sub-MOA performance in a proven, widely supported cartridge.
