The Davey Crickett My First Rifle in .22 LR (brand part no. KSA2240) is the black synthetic, blued youth rifle that Keystone Sporting Arms has built in the USA for the beginner shooter for over 20 years. It is a manual-cocking, single shot, bolt action, which keeps the loading and firing sequence simple and easy to supervise. A 16.1-inch blued barrel, an adjustable rear peep sight and a fixed front post give a clean sight picture, and the rifle weighs under 3 pounds with a length of pull sized for smaller shooters. A rebounding firing pin is automatically blocked to prevent accidental discharge. It is a fitting first rifle for plinking, safety training and range days from Davey Crickett.
