The Radian Weapons Guardian Optic Guard (brand part number H0018) is a slide-mounted protective housing built to guard a Trijicon RCR red dot on a Glock MOS-cut handgun without giving up a fast, precise sight picture if the optic ever fails. Radian’s TRU-SEAL design eliminates the need for a separate sealing plate; pre-installed O-rings on the mounting screws hold the plate watertight against the slide, keeping moisture out and corrosion from forming in the mounting threads. The guard secures with Radian’s STUD-LOK threaded stud-and-nut interface, which gives significantly longer thread engagement, greater hold-down power, and more shear resistance than a standard screw-down mount. Six backup sights are integrated directly into the Guardian housing, finished with an anti-glare, anti-snag profile and an ultra-low co-witness so they stay out of the way until a red dot malfunction calls for them.
