Barnes VOR-TX .28 Nosler 162gr ammunition (Barnes part no. 32248) puts a 162-grain TSX bullet into a factory load for big game and medium game. Barnes engineered this TSX specifically for the 28 Nosler, choosing a non-tipped design for maximum bullet weight and reliable stabilization in the SAAMI-standard 1:9 twist rate, with a long boat tail, a sleek ogive and a reduced meplat diameter. The bullet is 100% copper, and Barnes cites double-diameter expansion and maximum weight retention for the design. Barnes publishes 3150 fps and 3570 ft-lb at the muzzle, plus a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.486. The box has 20 rounds.
