The SureFire WARCOMP SPORT Flash Hider in .223/5.56 NATO, threaded 1/2-28 (brand part number WARCOMP-SPORT-556-1-2-28), combines the essential features of the WARCOMP, one of the most effective flash hiders on the market, in a model built specifically for an unsuppressed rifle or carbine. Its expertly designed porting significantly reduces both muzzle flash and muzzle rise, helping conceal the shooter’s location, preserve dark-adapted vision, and stay on target for faster follow-up shots. SureFire states the WARCOMP SPORT eliminates 98% of muzzle flash, even on short-barreled rifles. It measures approximately 2.75 inches overall, is precision machined from heat-treated US mill-certified chromoly bar stock, and wears a Nitride QPQ coating for wear resistance. Installation requires no permanent modification to the weapon system, though it is not compatible with SureFire suppressors.
