Do older X-Bolts need different screws? EGW changed the depth of the front countersink on mounts made after January 2021, with the date code on the bottom of the mount. Older rifles with front holes threaded to the top of the receiver may need longer front screws, and EGW recommends test fitting before using Loctite.

What torque does EGW recommend? 20 inch-pounds, though the front screws can be torqued to 10 inch-pounds.
