The EGW HD Howa Mini Action Picatinny Scope Base, 0 MOA (EGW part no. 81060) is a heavy-duty one-piece rail for the Howa Mini Action receiver. EGW machines it from solid 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finishes it in matte black hardcoat. It is ambidextrous and works with quick-disconnect rings, so the optic can come off and go back on cleanly. EGW lists it for the Mini Action only and says it will not fit the Howa 1500 Superlite. It gives a hunter or range shooter a stable platform for a scope.

Key Specifications

• The mount is made for the Howa Mini Action, so it matches that receiver instead of a generic pattern.
• Built-in elevation is 0 MOA, which sets how the optic sits relative to the bore.
• It is machined from solid 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, which keeps the mount strong without adding bulk.
• The finish is matte black hardcoat, a coating that protects the aluminum from scratches and wear.
• Center spread is 3.155 inches, the distance between the two middle mounting holes.
• Overall length is 5.882 inches, which sets how much rail is available for ring placement.
• Height is 0.35 inch from the top of the receiver to the top of the Picatinny rail.
• It weighs 2.5 ounces, so it adds almost nothing to the rifle.
• Quick-disconnect rings are compatible, if you want to remove the optic and return to zero.
• The mount is ambidextrous, with the same profile on both sides of the receiver.
