The Sierra GameKing .270 Cal 130gr SP-BT Bullets (Sierra part no. 1820) pair a soft point nose with a boat tail base for hunters who want match-grade ballistics on a big game bullet. Sierra built the GameKing line for long-range hunting, and the boat tail base brings the same drag-reducing benefit found on Sierra’s target bullets to a controlled-expansion hunting profile. Each box holds 100 bullets for a full season of .270 Winchester handloads.

Frequently Asked Questions

What game is this bullet suited for? The 130gr GameKing soft point boat tail is a proven choice for deer-class and similar medium big game at .270 Winchester velocities.

Why does the ballistic coefficient change with velocity? Sierra publishes GameKing BC figures across velocity bands because drag behavior changes as the bullet slows, giving handloaders more accurate trajectory data than a single flat BC number.

How many bullets are in a box? Each box contains 100 bullets.
