The Weaver 1-Piece Extended Multi-Slot Picatinny Scope Base for the Mossberg Patriot short action gives you a solid, full-length rail on the receiver (brand part no. 99475). It is a one-piece base with an integral recoil lug, so it holds position under recoil. The extended design adds one inch of forward mounting length, which gives you more flexibility in optic placement. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte hard-coat anodized finish. Torx screws that resist slipping and stripping secure it to the receiver.
