The Sierra Pro-Hunter 303 Caliber 125gr Spitzer bullet (brand part no. 2305) is a .311-inch flat-base hunting bullet that Sierra designed for the 7.62x39mm cartridge. Sierra says it also works as a light game or varmint bullet in the larger .311-inch cartridges such as the .303 British, 7.65mm Mauser and 7.7mm Arisaka. The profiled ogive point shape is meant to feed positively in semi-automatic rifles that use the 7.62x39mm, and Sierra introduced this bullet in 1996. Pro-Hunter bullets pair flat-base accuracy with controlled expansion and deep penetration. A box holds 100 bullets for reloading.
