The Hornady CX 6mm 80gr bullet (brand part no. 243704) is a Copper alloy eXpanding (CX) monolithic hunting bullet, machined from a single piece of copper alloy rather than a jacketed lead core. Hornady positions the CX line as its most advanced monolithic hunting bullet, and Hornady built this monolithic hunting bullet with a Heat Shield Tip made of a heat-resistant polymer that resists aerodynamic heating, keeping ballistic coefficient consistent across the bullet’s entire flight path. It ships 50 bullets per box, giving handloaders a lead-free option for 6mm-class rifle cartridges.
