The Sierra GameKing Bullets in .25 caliber, 117 grains, spitzer boat tail (Sierra part no. 1630), are Sierra’s dedicated long-range hunting line, built to bring match-bullet ballistics to a controlled-expansion hunting bullet.

Key Specifications

• .25 caliber bullet is sized for .25-caliber rifle cartridges.
• 117-grain weight is a heavier .25-caliber hunting weight for deeper penetration.
• 100 bullets per box supports a full hunting season.
• Spitzer boat tail profile brings the ballistic advantage of a match bullet to a hunting design.
• Streamlined tapered base greatly reduces drag compared to a flat-base bullet.
• Higher retained velocity is a direct result of that reduced drag.
• Flatter trajectory and less wind drift round out the aerodynamic benefits of the boat tail design.
• Controlled-expansion hunting bullet, not a target bullet, is the design intent behind this line.
• GameKing long-range hunting positioning distinguishes it from Sierra’s pure-target MatchKing line.
