Faxon machines the block in an ultra-low profile with a matching black luster finish to its barrels, and drills it through the middle of the profile to shave extra weight for lightweight AR builds. It clamps onto the barrel using three Allen-key set screws on the bottom of the block for a secure, adjustment-free installation.
