The DeSantis Insider is a soft, un-molded leather IWB (inside-the-waistband) holster built for standard 1911 and Colt Officer pistols with a 3-inch to 3.50-inch barrel from Colt, S&W, Sig, Ruger, Kimber, Springfield, and other makers, designed to disappear under a shirt while keeping the gun exactly where you left it. DeSantis cuts the leather thin and leaves it unlined, so the holster breaks in fast and rides close to the body instead of printing through a cover garment. A heavy-duty spring steel belt loop is set high on the holster for a deep-cover ride and a fast, consistent draw. (brand part no. 031BA79Z0) It is right-hand carry, finished in black leather throughout.
