The Magpul MIAD/MOE Bolt & Firing Pin Core (Magpul part no. MAG057-BLK) is a black polymer internal storage core sized to hold one complete, standard AR-15/M4 bolt and firing pin inside your pistol grip. Magpul builds this core to fit the MIAD as well as the MOE and MOE-K2 grips, giving you a spare bolt and firing pin within arm’s reach in case of a catastrophic parts failure in the field or at a match. It is not recommended for the MOE+ grip, since that grip’s rubber over-molding leaves slightly less internal room than the core needs. Magpul manufactures the core in the USA.
