The Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator, or MDC, for the Glock 19 Gen 5 (brand part no. SI-G5-MDCOMP-C) rethinks how a handgun compensator manages recoil. Instead of bolting extra reciprocating mass onto the slide the way a traditional barrel-mounted compensator does, the MDC is driven by hot gas expelled through the barrel after each shot, acting as a separate counterbalance system rather than adding weight the slide has to sling back and forth. Because the comp is separated from the pistol’s operating components after ignition, a Glock 19 Gen 5 running the MDC keeps close to stock cyclic speeds while still fighting muzzle rise, and the reduced reciprocating mass means less strain on reliable cycling than a heavier bolt-on brake. Every MDC kit includes the comp main body, recoil spring, guide rod, guide rod fitment washer, guide rod head, internal spring, and a printed warning card.
How is this different from a standard compensator? It’s gas-driven and separated from the slide’s operating components, so it counters muzzle rise without adding reciprocating mass that slows cycling.
Does this fit any Glock 19? It’s built specifically for the Glock 19 Gen 5.
What comes in the kit? The comp main body, recoil spring, guide rod, fitment washer, guide rod head, internal spring, and a warning card.
Fight muzzle rise without slowing down your Glock 19’s cycle. Order the Strike Industries MDC from our Glock barrels selection at our Lubbock, Texas gun shop for fast, direct shipping.
