The Redding SAECO Mould Handles (Redding part no. 29000) are built to work with SAECO bullet moulds, which Redding machines from solid cast-iron blocks one cavity at a time. SAECO uses the same cutting tool, called a cherry, for every cavity on digital equipment, which guarantees each cavity duplicates the last one without paying a premium for matched cavities. SAECO also developed its own blend of copper-alloyed pearlitic cast iron specifically for tight grain structure and dimensional stability in the mould itself. These handles give bullet casters a proper grip and leverage for opening and closing a SAECO mould through repeated casting cycles.
What moulds do these handles fit? They’re built specifically for SAECO bullet moulds.
Why are SAECO mould cavities consistent across a mould block? SAECO cuts every cavity with the same cutting tool (cherry) on digital equipment, so each cavity duplicates the last.
