Contoured, flexible sides wrap around the cuffs to prevent snagging, while integrated shock cord provides adjustable retention so the cuffs stay secure but come free quickly when needed. It is built from laser-cut nylon laminate wrapped over a woven thermoplastic core, which is what lets the Gen 2 line run almost 20 percent lighter than the originals. Half-inch interval MOLLE on the back allows both MOLLE and belt mounting, and adding the optional HSGI OTR Cover accessory lets the same pouch run covered or open-top.
