The neck pad dimensions are designed for maximum functional comfort, with tapers at both ends to eliminate snag points when slinging the carbine across your back. Padding is covered in a four-way stretch Tweave fabric that offers smooth, friction-free movement around your neck or across the back of your kit. A four-inch pull tab features two center bar tacks that can be removed if the wearer prefers a thumb loop instead of the pull tab, and GBRS Group stripped out the large metal hardware commonly found in other slings, reducing weight down to 2.7 ounces, about half the weight of other slings on the market, finished in Ranger Green from GBRS Group.
