The Allen Axial Tripod (Allen part no. 21412) is a convertible shooting support that reconfigures between a tripod, bipod, or monopod depending on the terrain and shot you’re facing. Made by Allen Company, it’s built around the same removable rifle cradle used across the Axial line, so it swaps easily to cameras or spotting scopes for pre-hunt glassing. The aluminum legs are tipped with rubber feet for a stable, no-slip stance on rock, wood, or hard ground, and the whole rig extends up to 61 inches for standing shots from a blind or over cover.
Can I use it as just a bipod? Yes, the Axial system is built to reconfigure between tripod, bipod, and monopod modes depending on what the shot calls for.
Will it hold a spotting scope? Yes, the rifle cradle is removable and the mount accepts cameras and spotting scopes in addition to a rifle.
Is it stable on rocky or uneven ground? The rubber feet are designed to grip uneven terrain, which is a common need when hunting from a ground blind or ridge line.

One shooting support that adapts to a ground blind, a ridge line, or a spotting position saves you from carrying three separate pieces of gear. The Axial Tripod’s rubber feet and 61-inch reach make it a genuinely all-around setup for hunters who move between stand types through the season.
